AKC request to stewards:  "Please remember to turn off your cell phone ringers while in the ring!"

Hotel rooms are offered (when offered) by the various All Breed Kennel Clubs.  Rules for using these rooms are set by the Kennel Clubs, not MASA.  These rooms are available for stewards working the full-day, working as needed by the Chief Steward, and not for those showing dogs.  The rules regarding pets in rooms are set by the hotels and the Kennel Clubs, not MASA or its Board.

Generations Class - You may run into this class, especially at Specialties.  Here is the scoop from MB-F. Thanks to Eileen MacLennan for the Research.

"This is a class that has been introduced at Specialties- Nationals predominantly. It is a multiple dog class so it is a non-regular class not eligible for competition beyond the class- it is to allow a breeder to showcase the lineage they have bred. The club itself will develop the parameters of the class- the ones I am familiar with have been three generation.

Information about non-regular classes can be found in the Show Trial Manual."

Here is an example from a Sporting Group Specialty Premium List.  Of course this could apply to any Breed or Group if a club wanted to offer this class.
